
Gagan is an Independent Artist based in London, specialising in the art of Graphic Design, Illustration, and Photography.
Having attended various art workshops as a child, such as Glass Mosaic Art, Life/Figure Drawing, Still-Life, Mixed-Media, and Textile Fashion; these experiences piqued an interest in academic arts for Gagan, who later went on to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Graphic Design (Visual Communication), and a Postgraduate degree in Art & Design.
Taking inspiration from artists such as Shirin Neshat, Selina Swayne & Tarek Atrissi, shaped the way Gagan went on to create her work which was featured in the 2019 Arts & Humanities Exhibition at C.U.; Along with this, Gagan was also part of the 2018 Penguin Book Competition, YCN-Childline, and D & AD design briefs.
Currently, Gagan works to explore the relationship between Gurmukhi (Panjabi) and Typography; attempting to highlight the prestige of the Gurmukhi language.
